Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They explain the rules for using our website and how they relate to the written agreements under which we provide services.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at inscribe.biz (the “Site”), our discovery intake form, our customer portal at portal.inscribe.biz and related communications, provided by Inscribe Technologies (“Inscribe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 5822 F Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68117.
By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Site on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that business, and “you” includes that business. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Our services and written agreements
Inscribe provides IT support and cybersecurity services to businesses, including office network and infrastructure management, endpoint and workspace management, fractional virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) and virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) advisory services, and project work such as assessments, identity hardening, payment-fraud reviews and penetration tests.
All services are provided only under a separate written agreement, such as a master services agreement, retainer agreement, statement of work or signed proposal (a “Service Agreement”). The Service Agreement defines scope, fees, service levels, responsibilities, confidentiality, data handling and liability. If these Terms conflict with a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement controls.
Descriptions of services, pricing models and coverage on the Site are general information, not an offer that can be accepted. Quotes and proposals are valid for 30 days unless they state otherwise and are not binding until both parties sign. Projects are quoted separately from any retainer.
The intake form and communications
- Submitting the intake form, emailing or calling us does not create a client relationship or obligate either party to enter into an agreement.
- You agree that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to share it. Our recommendations depend on the accuracy and completeness of what you tell us.
- Do not submit passwords, access keys, payment card data or regulated personal data through the Site or by email. We will arrange secure methods when credentials are needed.
- We treat intake details about your systems, security posture and incidents as confidential and handle them as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Recommendations made before a Service Agreement is signed are preliminary and provided for discussion only.
Support hours and emergencies
Our standard support hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays, unless your Service Agreement states otherwise. Inscribe does not provide 24/7 monitoring. After-hours coverage is available only as an optional rider in a Service Agreement.
Messages sent through the Site, by email or by voicemail outside business hours will be handled on the next business day unless your Service Agreement provides otherwise. Response and resolution commitments, if any, apply only as set out in a Service Agreement.
If you are experiencing an active cybersecurity incident, contact us by phone and also notify your cyber insurer, if you have one, as your policy may require. If a crime is in progress or anyone is in danger, contact law enforcement.
Customer portal and accounts
- Portal access is available to clients and their authorized users. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential, using multi-factor authentication where offered, and for all activity under your accounts.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Tell us when authorized users leave your organization so we can remove their access. We may suspend access to protect the security of the portal, our systems or other clients.
- The portal may be hosted on a third-party platform whose terms also apply.
Acceptable use
When using the Site or portal, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site, the portal or our systems, except under a written authorization signed by Inscribe.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing malware or overwhelming it with requests.
- Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to submit forms or bypass security checks.
- Submit false, misleading or unlawful content, or impersonate another person or business.
- Use the Site in violation of any law or the rights of others.
Search engines and AI assistants may index and cite publicly available pages of the Site in line with our robots.txt file.
Authorization for security testing
Penetration tests, vulnerability scans, phishing simulations and similar security testing are performed only under a written authorization that defines scope, targets, timing and rules of engagement, signed by a person with authority over the systems to be tested.
You may request testing only of systems you own or are legally authorized to have tested. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from hosting providers, cloud platforms or other third parties. Inscribe may decline or stop any testing it reasonably believes is unauthorized or unsafe.
No guarantee of security
Our services are designed to reduce cybersecurity risk, but no system, product or service can make an organization completely secure or prevent every incident. Security outcomes also depend on factors outside our control, including user behavior, third-party products, and decisions you make about our recommendations. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee or warranty that your systems will be free of vulnerabilities, breaches, data loss or downtime.
Third-party products and services
We work with the systems you already own and do not lock you into any platform. Third-party hardware, software, cloud services, internet service and support are provided by their vendors under the vendors’ own terms, warranties and licenses. Inscribe is not responsible for third-party products, outages, pricing or policy changes, except as stated in a Service Agreement.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not mean we endorse them.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, the Inscribe name, logo and star mark, layout and code, are owned by Inscribe or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Site, or use our name or logos, without our prior written permission.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inscribe disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy, with respect to the Site.
Content on the Site, including the FAQ, is general information about IT and cybersecurity and our services. It is not legal, compliance, insurance or professional advice for your specific situation and does not create a client relationship. Warranties for services, if any, are provided only in a Service Agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inscribe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, the intake form or the portal, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inscribe’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Liability for services is governed exclusively by the applicable Service Agreement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Inscribe and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or portal, your violation of these Terms, or information you submit that you were not authorized to share.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other in writing and allowing 30 days for resolution.
Changes and general terms
- Changes: we may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms take effect when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after that means you accept the changes.
- Changes to the Site: we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
- Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Site. Services are governed by your Service Agreement.
